WRECKED!!!
First thing is that nobody got really injured, really sucks when your car gets wreaked by some other jerk. The next concern is getting your car repaired right, where you don't have to relive the nightmare every time you step out to your car. I had two people hit me last year just sitting at the stop light. Good thing is I got so frustrated with the terrible repairson my Chevy, I ended up buyingmy GT. One thing I noticed is insurance companies (Especially the other guys) have contracts with body shop and try to send you to some that want to do cheap work, cheaper than any other because the body shop gets business from the insurance company they do cheap work ordering cheap parts, (not usually from the manufacturer of the car). Be careful that the body shop doing the work has a reputation of quality work. If not get three bids on your own from quality body shops and send them to the insurance company, they cannot force you to go to their body shop.
I didn't see if it was mentioned, but press the insurange to give you 'diminished value' on the car. With it's repair, the value of your car just dropped when you try and trade it in or sell it. You should be compensated for that difference.
Glad you were not hurt. Those photos just make me sick to my stomach.

That is f*cked up. But I could see something like this go ugly in the long run. Why? Ya'll run a yellow light, and ya'll know yellow is the next best thing to red. It's actually considered a red light more than it is a green light. But under normal circumstances you'd be okay, since he has to yield to you.
You being 16 most likely does have something to do with this accident. You'll learn to pay attention to green lights, and be prepared to stop. And yes, do sue the other guy for diminished value of your car. Also, I'd opt to get a new GT asap. I would not want to drive around in a car that has been hit like that, since your frame won't hold up the same way in another accident.

..............................and, it will be on a report with will lessen the trade in value. Yellow lights mean, clear the intersection. If flashing, proceed with caution.
