He's already engaged in the intersectionwhile it's green.
The other @ssholes are just running the light.

I'm speaking for FL, witch is legal to do so.

Yeah....some state you may not enter the intersection when its yellow and i have seen a person get a ticket for being in the intersection waiting to turn. They entered when green and then it turned yellow and red and the cop put him over a wrote a ticket. He stated that he entered when the light was still green but it didnt matter, the cop stated you shouldnt have entered the intersection unless you were clear to complete the turn. I can see the point because some intersections are huge, you can have 3-4 cars that "go beyond the line" into the intersection wanting to turn, then the light turns yellow/red....all the cars now have to complete the turn, the other lights have turned green but then and that traffic cant move yet cause its waiting on the line of 4 cars waiting to turn.

Everyday here, in redneck land, I have to wait about 2,3 seconds when it turns green for me to go.

The first chance I get to drive a big ugly truck with a huge front bumper, I'll be putting people back in their spot (literally).
I might build such a truck, with a reinforced front bumper and frame...
