It took microsoft 3 years and lack of sales to extend their warranty... and that was an easy fix on the xbox360, my roomie did it himself, and he as no knowledge of electronics repair.... anyway... Ford recalls what needs to be recalled, if you have a problem, report it to them, and if there is enough reports it will get fixed. If its life threatening then it will get fixed faster. Just because a car squeeks doesnt mean they are gonna spend lots of money to track down the cause. Also, that $Billion$ that Microsoft put down was pretax... saving them money as well as boosting their image(they didnt just do it because).
