I've scraped my front spoiler twice. Hiding the damage with touch-up paint. Eventually, I'll have mine re-painted or replaced too.[&o]

I have a vista blue front bumper cover in xc-2007 GT. My wife and I put a SSE body kit on ours and I don't need the factory cover. $200 and it's yours. I live in SC. i say just put a fang chin spoiler over that

 

Its not really damaged, just scraped up. I understand youll know whats underneath, but you will soon forget when the CDC is on and no one will ever know.

 

Well I had my friend check it out today and he said that was a piece of cake to fix. Told me it would look like new again without replacing the bumper cover.

I'll let him work his magic and if it doesn't look right, then I will replace it.

He does do wonders though so I expect him to make it perfect.

 

Did you scratch the stock front bumper?

You do realize that a more aggressive chin spoiler/ front bumper will scrape even easier...[:@]

Yeah the stock bumper. My car is lowered so that was a factor, plus like the title states "due to stupidity"

I pulled up and misjudged how close I was . The spot was angled and I was looking around to see that no carts or cars were near me.
