You joking right....first you dont want to go get one for a pulley install and now you think you can do this job without one.....what the hell man, go rent one already!

You NEVER use a Torque wrench to loosen or remove bolts. That is what breaker bars are for or a Impact Gun.
Glad to see you got the bolt out. I would go and buy a new bolt from ford to replace it with. As for removed the flange you could use a rubber dead blow hammer and hit each side a little but the correct/easy way is to go rent a gear puller

I rented a gear puller. Had a lot of resistance all of the way out, good thing I got the puller.
But now I cant get the new flange on. I tried tightenining it down but eventually the resistance became too great...
Can I oven-heat the new flange even with the seal on it?

For the guys who have put on this driveshaft, Do you really feel a substantial difference? Are the gains justifyable? What do they run? Sorry if it looks like a hijack but not my intention.

Can I ask another question... Since this project is going to take me two days!!!! (if I even finish it alone period).
Does the seal on the new flange have to actually touch the differential? Or can there be a little gap? I found this pic inside a tutorial, and it seems like there is a very small gap?
I've reached 140lbs/ft torque but I have a very small gap. Think its done?

I would say 140 is safe, finish it up and then take it for a test drive...if it isnt on correctly it will probably vibrate and whatnot....have you PM spyder yet??
