I recently had a bucket of steel spikes fall on my car when i was cleaning it,, my foot hit the bucket and it fell into the lower section of the car and scratched it pretty bad in three places.

But i should get it repainted but im scared because it seems like anytime you get something repainted it never looks the same again

I touched it up pretty nicely you cant see it unless your close so im just going to buy some side stripes because all three are in the spot where it would be covered up but that. But it seems like anytime im driving and cars get in a certain light i can tell they have been repainted or wrecked

Here is a pic of the unmatched door paint in my opinion. What are your thoughts?

The difference does not show in the picture ... looks perfect ...

How good a job did they do with the orange peel .. is the door as smooth as factory paint?

The orange peel part is perfect, no complaints there.

In your pic the door looks darker but you say it looks lighter. I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't looking for it. I would have it redone.

Just wondering, if you would not notice, why would you have it redone?

It's all in your head. You know what door was repainted , however, if you asked people which door was repainted they'd get it right 50 % of the time. I had the door replaced on my 97 F 150 after pulverizing it on a boat ramp pier. I used to think it was not exactly the same color. It was and is. It's all in our heads.
