Default C&L Intake Question

I am going to be ordering my C&L Intake and SLT Xcal2 combo tonight or tomorrow and want to make sure I understand this correctly.. Is the onlydifference between the "racer" and "Street" kits the plastic inlet tube? or is there something else entirely different that I am missing?

Also, This one is probably a newbie question, but I am looking to order them from Evolution Performance, and the order page is looking for a 4 digit calibration code.. Wassat/wheresat?

Thanks for the help

I think you'll find that brenspeed and b*a*m*a rate higher than evo on this forum, but anyway:

if you open your hood and look down and to the left, you'll see your computer. There's a white sticker on it with your 4-digit code. That's what they need...
...as far as the difference between street and racer, from what I understand yes it's just thematerial used for the inlet tube; some say the racer's better for the highly modded cars and the street is better for the mild cars...but then some say you can use either in either situation. I did the street just to be safe...

They write it like this: B*A*M*AcHiPs.....because they are not sponsers of this forum, so anytime someone types in their name, it automatically gets sensored like this: Bamachips

There. You are no longer a newbie. Congrats.

Ok. I found the site, but it seems that he no longer offers the combo with the 'street' intake. The only one I see offered is the "racer" CAI. I have sent them an e-mail about that. Hopfully there is still a street system or two laying around.. I do think I like the looks of that.

That LiveWire tuner is looking nice too.... <--Typical statement made while part shopping...

I have the C&L street, a guy I know has the racer. I believe the racer version flows just a small amount more than the street one does.
