interesting, usually it's the end of the air filter
that rubs the hood

Mine has rubbed also. After market hood with no liner, easy fix, lol

Ive also noticed others have rubbed. The steeda one rubs, and the DeMolet Tunable Induction. End result, pretty much they all do.

I never really looked to see if the elbow rubbed I know the first time I installed mine I get pissed because the filter was rubbing a bit but never looked for the elbow.

Mine rubs there too and even worse is the outer most edge of the sheil, as it gets close to the drivers side fender, seems to sit a bit high forcing an ugly gap between my fender and hood. Look close at the bottom photo of my sig and you can see the gap. Jay @ JLT sent me a new sheild but it is still the same, Might try and file one down and see if it fixes it. Will keep posted.

I'm actually havin more of an issue of the TI tube rubbing on that reservoir mounted on the radiator. Almost had a hole worn through it when I caught it.[:@]
