Default I freaking Scratched my Wheel!

Was pulling into a parking lot, one where the st. is uneven to the entrance to this parking lot, so you need to go slow. Well I went slow but didn't realize that I was too close to the curb (it's a tight entrance to this lot, since you need a pass to get in it during the day). Anyway, heard a loud sound and my car kind of jump. There is one big long scratch, about 3.5 inches, and another one about 1 inch; both along the edge.
I work in a car dealership, so hopefully they can fix it, but still Was hoping/praying just my tire, but nope! here's the aftermath. (apologize for the quality of the pictures, taken at night w/ limited light).

I got my 1st curb scratch the other day. Let me know how they fix it if they can. GL.

I'm pretty sure that can be fixed.

I slid my baby into a guard rail last winter and scraped the lip of the rim exactly like that, and I ended up replacing the rim (because I'm stupid -- and I bought it through my Ford dealer, because I'm really stupid), but if you look through your phone book, you can probably find a company that will repair car rims.

I dunno how much it will run you... More than $40 less than $100, I would think, but you just have to get it checked out and get a quote.

Picked it up in May... I doubt they would be that stupid.

Well as I said, I work in a car dealership (Lexus) so we have people that handle this all the time. But if it is going to cost a lot, I might as well just wait until next summer, just in case something like this happens again in the winter.

Your plan sound like a good one. It can be repaired but it wouldn't be perfect for a perfectionist like me.
