fast83gt, I just joined the forum two weeks ago. I have posted a lot since my interest in Mustangs has been active for sometime, but I know very little about them. I also am lost on most acronyms. I have been picking them up as I go, and hope I haven't ticked to many experienced forum/internet users off.

I am a Newbie.....that's for sure. I drove my brothes 5.0 88 GT for a couple of weeks back in the early 90'S (white car). It was a blast !! Enjoy your ride !!

I have heard a lot of good things about the newer Dakota's. I had an 87 Dak 87-96, the a 96 Dak, until 2001. The 96 was the last year for the original style, and a lemon in my case. I jumped over to ford, 2001 F350 Crew CAb power stroke dually ($760.00/mo. ouch), then to a 2003 F150 FX4. I traded the 2003, on the Mustang and plan to stay with the newer car, older truck. I always hated to get my 03 Lariat with heated leather, really dirty!! lol

I still consider myself a newbie. This is the only forum I like. The people here are great, although we all differ in opinons allot. (especially on politics). By the acronyms I'm ussuming you didn't understand ADHD, it's not a web or mustang forum acronym. It's Attention defficit hyperactivity disorder. I'll PM (Private Message) you with some of the acronyms I've learned sinse joining the forum.
