Just bought my 05 GT
After a couple weeks of searching all the dealers, I found my car. I wanted an 05 GT in silver with a 5 speed, I didn't care much about any other options. I found a black on black 5 speed but I owned a 96 Vette that was black and keeping it clean drove me nuts! I found a silver automatic in town but the fun factor was zero in the auto. So I went online and found a Ford dealer in Maine, I am in Michigan by the way, that had the exact car with the IUP option, 500 shaker, deleted spoiler, willing to sell me the car at sticker and I would pay $600 to have it shipped to me. He says I'll have it in a week to 10 days, I told him it better be here soon!! I think I did the right think, got the car I wanted, saved $1300 by not getting the 1000 shaker that I didn't want. Now I am just waiting!!! By the way my interest rate was 5.25% which I thought was pretty good also.

Just ordered mine yesterday. Black GT premium, auto,int upgrade, at, side air bag. I went to Chicago auto show and got a offer of $500 under MSRP from a dealer about 40 miles from my house. I then went to my local dealer 4 blocks away and said if he matches the sale is his. After a couple of minutes of try to get me to pay sticker I got up to leave and he then met my price. At first he said they had a order coming in 4 to 5 weeks which was fine by me as we did the paper work the Manager of the dealership came out and asked if I could take the car sooner. He said he could ghange the specs on a order in the system and get the car in 3 to 4 weeks. I hope this isn`t a line of crap because I agreed to the sale with the 5 week delivery time. Will post later with update. This is a great forum and I expect to use it in the furture to research mods for my new GT

Nice looking car...that would be the one I would want Silver/Black w/ Fogs...I saw a nice Black/Black car w/ 19" Torque Thrusts on it chromed out & it was sweet...
I'm considering the new mustang..we'll see what happens w/ the new job situation...Plus my brother works @ Ford so I have an insight on a wholesale deal
