if you want cheap get clay magic clay bar.. works just as well as mothers and meguiars.. but costs less... definately better than "ice". yesterday i used meguiars mirror show car glaze 7 and wow.. put that on after the clay bar and youll be looking fresh
Is that a polish or what?
I figured wash, claybar, poilsh and then wax. Missing anything??? Like to do something about the spyder hair scratches...figured the meguiars scratch X.Would imagine before the claying or after not sure???
Car glaze=Detailing spray if im not mistaken.

I wash, clay w/ spray, wipe down excess then wax, finish w/ detailing spray on anything that could be better...

And i would do scratch x after, i assume the clay would just remove it.
Mine is wash, Clay (Meguiar's Claybar), Compound (Optimum), Polish (Optimum), and then wax (P21S). Has anyone tried the sealant type products? (Wolfgang, etc...)

I'm another big Meguiar's fan. I use the following:

Gold Class Car Shampoo and Conditioner
Mirror Glaze Hi-Tech Yellow Wax number 26
Gold Class Rich Leather Wipes
Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
Gold Class Endurance tire care product

I also use Quik Detailer during shows to keep it looking extra clean.

I haven't yet had to use a clay bar on it, the paint is still extremely smooth. For those who don't know much about clay bars,a good way to tell if your paint needs a clay bar is to run your thumbnail lightly over the paint. If you feel any kind of imperfections, then you'll probably benefit from using a clay bar.

I'm always looking anything that will provide an improvement though!
