05 Intake Pre-catalyst removal????
Will my motor go lean or throw any codes if I remove the precatalyst honeycomb from my intake hose. Heard it is a free horsepower mod on one of the other threads. Just looks like an obstruction of airflow.

That was the first mod I did, at about a week old....No, you will not throw codes or go lean. I would have to say that the HP gain is negotiable....more the placebo effect........
