The Panhard rod should have included two elbow grease fittings instead of one elbow and one straight. It doesn't matter which way the rod is oriented, that straight fitting it going to be difficult or impossible to get the grease gun on.

14. The whole concept of the Panhard rod and it's lack of symmetry just blows my mind with it's retardedness. You'd think a simpler and better idea would have been used all these years (the Watts linkage is only slightly more satisfying) than to put some diagonal rod from one end of the frame to the other.
There is, it's called a triangular 4 link, but it isn't perfect either. I believe the last generation mustangs used this setup. They have two upper diagonal links that center the rear axle.

I give up. Maybe it will work. The point is that there were no instructions and they should have used two elbow fittings.

I will reverse it if I decide to get gears. Otherwise, it will just have to stay half-greased.

Such is life in mod world. That's what is great about these forums. You can find what's tried and true.

Now, I get frustrated with computers because there'are too many things that I don't understand about themand sadly, never will. Although I'll never bust a knuckle playing with them (or will I?), I rather work on cars. Moddin' that is
Yes you will. Just wait till you need to pull the white connector (molex) out of a hard drive or CD-rom and its tight. Pull a little harder and it comes out and you bust you knuckles on the case. Plus the case metal is thin so it will cut you up like a razor blade.
