I just had mine replaced today. I'm picking it up in a few hours.Are the strut mounts the black metal pieces visible inside the strut towers from the top of the engine bay?

there is no point in trying to fight with the service manager, just have him use the parts from the TSB and fix the problem. remember these guys have your car while you aren't there pissing them off is a bad idea. best of luck getting it fixed.
