Ive been searching on ebay for a grill on a "mustang v6 2006" and some descriptions say, I can just install the grill over the factory grill it has already, and some other sellers say replacement... does that mean i have to take out the factory grill and put in the new replacement grill or what??? im confused!

You guys with v6's that have grills how did you do yours?

They make both ...overlay and direct replacement.
Both grilles I own are direct replacement. The one in my sig is ABS billet style. The one in the pic is an ABS street scene direct replacement.
