Drilled is the only way to have functional hood pins. I went with the old twist lock hood pins from the early 70s Mach 1. I love them but it was difficult to get them aligned right since our hood slants down in the front vs the early Mach 1 hood was flat. Plus standing over your hood with a 3" hole saw is pretty nerve racking! I must have measured 50 times! -Joe

Mine are for appearance only. I like them and didn't want to drill holes in my hood so they can deduct $1000 from the trade-in value if I ever decide to trade it in on a newer Mustang. I got mine at a car show for next to nothing because I also bought a CDC chin spoiler at the same time.
