So I was thinking...

The '07 Mustang GTs have basically the same chassis as the GT500, right? That's one of the reasons why they're heavier than the '06 GTs, because they've got that beefed up crossmember to support the 5.4L engine that only went into the GT500, right?

So, this gets down to my question:

Steeda is selling springs for a GT500. Would it be possible to fit these springs onto an '07 GT, and would there be any benefits, or would it just be pointless? I can't seem to think of a reason why it wouldn't work...

the gt500 springs are probably going to be stiffer (so they lower more with the weight of the 5.4 block up front) so you may sit up high...

yeah the gt500 is heavy up in the nose avoid the the springs for that car regardless if stock or aftermarket unless your gonna do the 5.4 swap
