just practice with another nut on the car with a torque wrench and get it up to the state lbs then try to move it up with a regular wrench and see how much strenght it takes. then do it the other way around. Torque first with reg wrench then with the tq wrench to see how much you are off by then just do it on the bolt. Being off by 5 or so lbs aint gonna kill you. I prefer to tq them when I am installing them then I recheck the tq when the car is resting on its wheels since the rubber bushing might nudge a bit up.
