What About When AutoSocks are Removed from the Vehicle? AutoSock is likely to be wet and probably dirty. They should be put back in their storage bag using the gloves provided. After reaching the destination, AutoSocks should be dried and the dirt shaken out, and can be machine washed. AutoSock is reusable, easy to store and should be put back in the vehicle for the next time a rare snow or ice storm arrives!

I just watched a man slip WALKING up a icy mountain on tv, so he put socks over his boots and walked on ICE[>:]

they had some on display at the tire rack when I was there last week gettin my snow tires
I thought it was a good idea, but they look like hell , and Im sure if you got them up to speed they would explode

Id rather wipe these out than my tire chains.

When one of those came loose, boy, did that cause some body damage and rupture a brake line

we get Ice in Northern Virginia a lot.

they dont alow chains or studded tires in IL if I get stuck Ill be calling AAA for a tow
