Center console Removal is actually so easy its a joke ... I am building a carputer for my 06 V6 now and Ill do a full write up with pics and all in the near future .. but for now ill make it simple for you.

1. Open up your center console
2. Remove the two screws (phillips head) where the hinge for the console is
3. Lift up on the plasic piece in the console where you just removed the screws (make sure that the parking break is very high for this one because from my experience it makes the removal much easier)
4. Pull towards yourself on each of the long pieces on either side of where your contols are (they should come right out with not too much force as they just snap into place)
5. Remove the 6 screws for your center panel (9/16 or 10 mm if memory serves me correctly)
6. pull out center panel and unplug airconditioner plust anything plugged in up top if you desire ( you can actually install the D3 without unplugging all of that if you just open it towards one side)
7. Remove the four screws (same size as step 5) that are holding the radio in.
8. Remove cold beer from your ice chest and revel in your work
9. Sober up before beginning install of D3

hope that helps enough

feel free to pm me with any questions, sadly enough i have installed more car audio systems than and audiophile on crack

The only problem i ran into when installing mine is running the speed signal thru the firewall and up to the front of the engine bay. I've had my d3 in for about 4months and my navi works fine. A extra set of hands helps when trying to put the screen in place. heres pics showing the install http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=731487

d3 does have known issues with navi, the other pioneer models are good.i chose a kenwood and love it.

i used taco bills write up on the wiring and he has the radio shack regulator you need, bought the wiring harness and dash kit from ebay.put my rear camera in just like taco bill also.im not in my car enough to get bluetooth.
