I got my windows tinted a little while ago. I live in CA and I got all the windows tinted in my opinion it looks bad when you only have the back windows tinted and not the front, but yeah you can get the fronts tinted light. I have 8% in the back and 35% in the front... you can see on my signature how dark it is.... Its darker than I thought it would be, but it looks good in my opinion. I was gonna get 50% for the front but it was too light for me. My dad got 50% in his tahoe and you cant really tell its tinted unless your far away...

 

i just got mine done med tint all the way around premium grade. i liked the lighter shade makes it easier to see at night

my take the darker the better. I have 20% all around which is totally illegal in NJ. I wish i got 5% or @ least 15

I don't even notice my tint at night, and can see just fine. Most people who get aftermarket tint get the illegal kind, and I even saw some at the Ford dealer with obvious illegal tinting -- the dealer was trying to show me something in one of the cars but we couldn't even see in! lol! Anyone actually KNOW someone who got fined for tint?

 

when I had my probe i got pulled over for my tint. I had 15% all the way around. Here in connecticut the limit is 35%. Im getting my mustang done on wed with 20%.
