Good solution:

Drive it until you run out of gas!
Than do it again and again until you have a good idea of how many miles you can drive with the warning light on and the beep going off all the time!

Eventually you'll see that the gas tank holds 16 gallons of gas, but you can't always use every drop in there.

Better solution:
When the warning first comes on stop and get gas![sm=closed.gif]

haha no guys I don't always drive it down that low...Its just I don't have the six-guage dash, so when my fuel guage passes below empty, I can safely pull another 60 miles...and even then I can only pump 14 gallons into it...[:@]

I've got it, carry a 2 gallon gas can with you when you go to fill up. Put 14 in the car, and 2 in the gas can. Wallahh 16 gallons. (guess I've been watching Die Hard too much) LOL

I don't purposely run it dry because of all the sediments, but I get gas every 2 weeks and fill it all the way up.. And it never takes more than 14 gallons
You get gas every 2 weeks? Do you only drive on the weekends?

I dont know if this will answer you question at all, but I was watching a thing on 20/20 a few weeks ago and they tested to see how much further you could drive when it says E/0 miles to go....even though they used a mini van (far from a stang) they said that this is true for most new car. I think that he drovesomething rediculous like close too 100 miles after the light came on. They said that they do that now b/c people are lazy/stupid and usaully dont stop to get gas until after the light comes on.
