Exactly. Do you want it to sound like it's going to blow when you simply drive down to get some stamps.
If concerned about the highway try the 3.73's but I still feel (esp if doing the speed limit) the RPM's will not be an issue with 4.10's
Edit: Here is my take on what our cars are

scroll down and I would class our cars as modern muscle car! FTW and thats what I will stick to as my opinion of what the car is classed as ! Thanks and on to the OP's topic 4.10's = WOW!

If I ever do it, that's the set I'd go with. I'm just a lollygagger that gets on it once in a blue moon.
Im leaning on the 373, a best of both worlds
and a lot better than the 331,
now the brain starts thinking If Im getting 13.3's at the track with the 331 wonder how much a gear swap will help?

It is common. I agree.
But there is a reason why most people think 4.10's are too much for an Auto. I'd like to know that reason!

Pretty close, except instead of a large powerful V8 engine, it has (GT) a small powerful V8 engine. What are we going to tell the 6 banger folks? They want to be a muscle car too/
Ok guys I have a 3.55 now and want to upgrade so would 4.10s in a stick shift be recommended? I cant justify going from 3.55 to 3.73 for the same price almost as a 4.10 with install and parts? thoughts anyone? I know this has been talked about a million times but the debate still goes! J Remember I have FI!
