Yeah like posted before by 2 people. Slotted and drills are nothing more than looks now. You can argue about it all day but it is the truth and I have talked to too many people about this trying to confirm. At one point I spent like ten hours online just researching too. They used to have the purpose, but like stated pads have changed and now they useless. It is going to eat up your pads quicker, harder to turn the rotors sometimes not possible, and be more prone to cracking. Also the slots/holes cut down on surface area.

Honestly though they look bad a$$ 15" drilled and slotted to fill up my 20" wheels.
