i always LOL at people with thoes. Do our cars rev to 10,000 rpms, do you drive a fully built and gutted race car, NO. Stock tach and a Raptor light is more then enough. they dont look good in any car; old muscle car, new mustang, fox, civic... maybe, an off-shore racing boat.
The answer is yes they do rev to 10,000 rpms if it is built to do so. I alsolike having an aftermarket tach especially if im going to the strip because they aremore accurate when you are pushing the car to its limits. I also dont know if it looks right in a DD but is better in a strip/drag car imo.

What exactly makes the Mustang a "muscle car"?
Muscle car =
- V8 (that makes decent enough power and torque)
- Rear Wheel Drive
- 2 Doors
- "essence"

The V6 Cadillac CTS has 308hp. Guess that makes it a better muscle car?
The new Caddys are made to compete with the lacks of BMW, Lexus, etc.

So... No. See above criteria for being a muscle car.

your killing a nice interior
It's something to think about. My car however has long gone beyond that point. Also lost at least 50% trunk space. Old pics before seats were changed. Once all the fuel/dyno issueshave been sorted, I won't be the one driving it at the track. Too much power for me...I'm too old, too slow, and too inexperienced. The driver is a veteran dragracer and if he wants a large tach as close as possible to eye level...that's what he gets. If he wants it moved, it will be moved.
