but beware of those pesky IDC crimp scotchlock connectors

solder and heatshrink is the best method

I used everything in the kit and it's been over a year now with no problem.
why wouldn't you want to solder and heatshrink, its fun and you feel like an electrician lol

not to mention its just plain better

Those scotchlocks will bite your @ss one day.....
Ask anyone with scotchlocked trailer light connections.
