Ifeel like the driver mod should the first one to do, so here is the question:
anybody here took a performance driving course, like http://www.faasst.com/
or other places? share your experiences!
do you see alot of stock/modestly modded cars at those events or is it all racing nuts with street illegal setups?
is it worth the few hundred$ for one day?
i have a stock/stick 07'GT

I've been driving the track at Pueblo (and others) for 2 years now. Getting better at it. But turn 7 has been giving me fits. Just couldn't make time through there. Every thing I tried made me slower. One day with Judy and I own this corner. Made me a lot more consistant, too. Learned a lot, had a great time, well worth the small expenditure in cash. She easily shaved 4-5 seconds off my lap times. 4-5 seconds doesn't sound like much. But, let me tell you, it's a lot. I can't think of any other mod that would have made that big an improvement for such a small investment.
I highly recommend Faasst. If you're a beginner like me, pick up a good one day school. That will get you rolling with a small expenditure in time and money. Once you master those skills, then attend a 2-3 day course.
Don't worry about car mods. You won't need any. Just make sure everything is in good working order and you're ready to go.
