For a light bulb to illuminate it needs a negative and positive charge. Looking at this drawing I'm seeing 3 wires going to each head light. One wire on each head lamp UN-necessary in your case
(Wingman75). There is twoblack wires which are Negativeand isimportant, so don't cut those. On the right head light you have a Light Green/White & Yellow/White..I think its the Yellow/White that has to be cut.....And on the Leftlight you have White & Violet/Yellow..I think its the Violet/Yellow that has to be cut.....
I would adivse against doing the above. This guy does not have a clue as to
the inner working of the S197 mustangs electrical system. You follow his lame
directions and you will end up having NO headlights.

Doesn't bother me when the interior lights come on but when the headlights come on when I unlock the doors with the key fob... that bothers me. Any fix for that? I though you could turn that off in the computer or whatever but I could never find out how.
Its in the owners manual.
Its a sequence of steps switching items on and off in sequence.

I have no intention of cutting up my wiring I just wanted to see if I could do it in the computer system. I looked but couldn't find it in the manual.

to the guy who said to just leave my keys in the ignition..yea i could but i forgot to mention that my driveway is on a hill so when i open the door i look like a fool bc i have to kick it open and the heavy long door likes to fly closed and catch my shin as i try to step out...so in addition to not having my neighbors seeing me play with my money, get stuff from my console, they wont get to see me playing door ninja with my left leg...
^^^ Very funny. Ive had shin busters myself.

Back in your driveway pointing downhill instead of uphill, problem solved.
Any more problems that can be cured sans cutting stang wires to fix them?

My 05 mustang doesn't do that. I have been trying to figure out how to make it do that!

Let's trade headlights? lol.
Maverickaf17 - You're out of luck - the '05 & '06 do not have the "perimeter lighting" feature

wingman75 - You're in luck. It's in the owners manual.

Go to Locks and Security / Remote Entry System / Illuminated Entry / Perimeter Lighting feature. Pg 79

Here's the link for ANY Ford owner manual:
