Default boost/vac gauge without FI?

hey guys..

wanted to see if this would work.. i have been thinking about gettina vacuum gauge, and came upon 2 ford racing gauges new for cheap.. one is fuel pressure, and the other is boost/vac..

im not forced induction yet.. atleast not for another year or two.. but would the vacuum on the gauge still read?

Yes it will still show vacuum and at wide open throttle it should read 0. All you need to do is cut the vacuum hose going to the stock fuel pressure sensor and put a T in it to your boost gauge. I'd get a vacuum T that's larger from where you work, the ones that come with the gauges always seem to small diameter.

Go with a mechanical boost gauge. They are more accurate and simple to install. My electric boost gauge seemed sluggish in comparison.
