ORIGINAL: Intervention

You can get the 2 step to wrok with the tuner.

All you need to do is tape down the upper clutch switch, and have your tuner enable 2step in his tune.

Works perfectly for me
Diablo told me the tuner I had (U7140) was not capable of a two step program.. I find that hard to beleive. I'm sure a custom tuner would be able to load it in with no problem.

The thing about this set up, is there is an on/off switch. You don't have to load and unload a tune.

$200 seems pricey.

I really don't see the need to be able to turn the 2 step on and off. It only activates when the clutch is depressed (or brake), and all it does is limit the revs to the set limit.
