Or you can take out your CB, take off you rebel flags, delete the dixie horn and remove your Klan outfit from the trunk.
wow dude the confederacy had nothing to do with the klan. I hate the clan and hope they all rot in hell.
No but one of their primary objectives was to keep slaves, so you can see where the stigma comes from. The second most people see that flag they are going to form an opinion that you are a racist. Maybe you are, maybe you are not! But that is the sad truth when defending a cause that is nearly extinct and support slavery heavily. I for one support you right to live how you choose even if I do not agree with your choice.

Curb weights per Edmunds:

2005 - 3450
2004 - 3347
1998 - 3227

So a total weight increase of 223 lbs from the 98 model year to now. Horsepower in 1998, 225. Horsepower in 2005, 300.
is there a realistic way to drop down to 3227 lbs....? how much did the 93 weigh?
My car weighs around 3000lbs, 3100 tops. I love the S197 GT but it does feel like a Cadilacstang. It's big, fast, comfortable, and smooth. I say add more pony's, let the car be what it is, and forget about reducing weight...

Agreed the car is not that heavy, and the additional weight can be shed just by getting good wheels and a light weight DS to make it weigh the same as the new edge.

But the S197 is very light, it's just that the stock components are hadly maxed out in terms of lightening. It's could easily be a light car.

For 5 grand the car can shed 650lbs. Allow me to repeat that again. For 5 grand the car can shed 650lbs. Considering the weight to HP ratio, that translates to putting a supercharger on for that price. You would be just as fast. Everything in the car to be honest is partically purpose designed to be heavy, yet the car is just as heavy as any other car. Heavier equals safer of course so keep that in mind, but yeah this super light mod would be great instead of an SC.

3450 lbs for the 05's up is not heavy. I have no idea who you are talkin bout when you say 'everyone and their grandmothers' know they are tank heavy.. cause 3450 lbs is NOT tank heavy. All alum engine, alum hood etc. Ford is trying to off set the heavy safety and luxury items in the S197 that the fox bodies did not have.. I think they did a pretty good job..

The driver's weight.

1998 133 lbs
2004 195 lbs
2005 247 lbs

Once you strip the vehicle remember to put down the pork rinds and red bulls!

Either I missed something or this place is getting really up tight. I didn't think anything was that offensive yet, just freedom of speech. One guy made an assumption about another because of his signature and the next thing I know it is gone. What did I miss?
