Default Throttle Body Combination Question?

Hey guys, I haven’t been around lately, work has been CRAZY the past few months. I have a few questions, I need help with.I have been thinking of “go fast parts” and here is what I’ve been looking into, due to my withdrawal of not modding the car in awhile. What do guys think of a Granatelli 62mm throttle body, boasting 11 peak and 22 mid range HP, coupled with a Steeda throttle body space, with the swirled design, boasting, ball park 10 HP? For an estimated bolt on, 21ish HP at the cost of approximately $400. Is anyone running this, or similar combination? And if so, what has been your ex perience? Worth it, or not? I also have a Whipple S/C fund in which contributions are being regularly deposited for application next spring or summer, is this throttle body combination also applicable with a SC, and will it add to HP gains after SC installation? Thanks guys!

You're not going to see a gain with either of those. The stock TB is big enough for N/A engines, and TB spacers do not work. You'll be better off spending your money on something else such as an offroad pipe, udp, cmcv deletes, or headers.

+1....I haven't seen too many positive articles in regards to swapping out the TB. I'm running the Paxton and have the stock throttle body and making very good power. Like someone else mentioned, I'd look at headers, pulleys and etc.
