Meziere Electric Water Pump

Meziere Electric Water Pump
Thinking very seriously about picking one up as my next mod along with some 3.73's.
Anyone have any problems created by or with the WP?
Will this void the rest of my warranty?
Anyone do something nifty like rig the relay up to a separate switch?
- I'm thinking of wiring the fan and pump onto a switch so, for example, I can run them while staging.
I've heard something about having to bleed out the air after install?
I'll be removing my Steeda water pump pulley, should I hang on to it, or try to sell?
Overall a worthwhile upgrade?

I doubt you'd have much luck selling just the water pump pulley, but you could always try the for sale forum or eBay.
I bet you wish you would have gotten Brenspeed's Meziere/Steeda package, huh? It is the water pump and the pulleys (minus the water pump pulley) for $504.

i really had no problems when i installed it into my 06 auto. nor did i bleed anything. something annoying however is a constant "tic tic" sound from it. it did it at certin rpm only tho. i still had underdrive pully system on, took the factory belt to parts america and bought about 6 others, tried them, and brought back 5 later that day. oh ya, i also put the power supply to an injector, thats what mezeire said when i called them, cause as im sure everyone here knows, finding power supply on the 197 isnt easy sometimes. and i hate to just "hack" into "something" until the test light tells me ok

Yah, at the time I just wanted a minor upgrade and didn't want to toy with anything that could affect warranty etc. Now I'm only months away from being out of warranty and have decided I want to get serious about the mods. Cams and LT's I don't think will be too far down the road and I still have my sights set on the Series VI....I just want to make sure I build it up right. I think I'm doing well so far...had some serious complaints at the drag strip as I'm beating guys that have drag radials and more mods than what I've got.

They can sell you the needed belt with the wp. I have both on the shelf awaiting install maybe next month with my udp. I also bought the pullies then bought the wp [:@]
