hey I'm thinkin about putting bassani longtube headers into my 2007 gt. no blower..... yet. I recently bought a bassani cattedX pipe though for my stock exhaust.

the dilemma I'm having is that i want to put the headers in but i have to buy a whole other x-pipe from bassani to install the LT's

i looked on the website and the only real difference between the two X-pipes i saw was that the cats were rewelding on the X itself further back and the hangers are rewelded.

I'm sure alittle fabrication can be done to make even this X-pipe i have fit... I'm thinkin about just cutting the axle mid-pipe alittle bit and pushing everything back alittle bit but the only problem I'll run into is repositioning the hangers... anybody ever done this or might have some knowledge about the bassani system and why they want you to buy that separate tube besides more money???
