This is one reason i moved some of your threads to the sixxer section because you get a little better help there because there is alot that is specific to a V6 when it comes to modding

They're talking about this upgrade: and put your 3.73's in it.

Exaclty, that or an 8.8.....to me it would be worthless to put gears in the stock sixxer rear without a tlok or upgrading to 8.8...just my opinion though

most v6 owners say this is one of the best mods to do to their car.

i too recommend you too get an 8.8 rear. if you install the differential you are gonna need more power tomove both wheels.i actually saw one going cheap on the for sale section.you might want to look into that.another thing you could do to get more power is trade your six in for a used gt and mod the living crap out of that one

trade my baby Esther in, no never. I plan on keeping this car until I die. but with that said yeah I head that this process can make it so you cant peel out if you dont have enough torque.

what is this guys love for torque converters and stall converters anyway? somebody said it earlier, but these plans you have, would be better suited for a GT, the sky is the limit with them, but the six, you are limited. they dont cost that much more and insurence isnt too bad either. i just took a trip ealier and pulled 26 mpg in the stang at 72 mph. most sixes on the market advertise that, so im pretty impressed. i like all mustangs, inc. the v6, it just seems with your 4.0 auto you are behind the power curve and they money is going to go fast with little results. by the way, did anybody read the july issue of motor trend, where they bashed the gt500 and talked about how much better the challenger is? blah

If you don't know what something does, don't put it in your car. Do you know what a stall converter does?
improves my cars performance what more do I need to know ......
You need to know how you are improving your performance. There is a big difference between street and strip.

For example, getting a higher stall converter would not be practical for street use, unless you want to be slamming 3000 rpm launches at every light.

well I'm not trying to get to like 500 hp or anything just 400 after supercharging when its all said and done with my car also yes I saw the comparison online .

Challenger cost more, weighs more, and is slower ..... and its better how ? oh right its new . 2010 mustang Gt500 will kill it
