ORIGINAL: Caution

The point of the key is to prevent theft ... without it people would just break your window and take your stang with ease.
but the key has to be in the ignition for it to work , which helps in that aspect but defeats the rest of the purpose to begin with .... irony huh

I really wanted one until I found out that you had to have the key in the ignition and turned on the on position. Like Capital G said, "it defeats the purpose of a push start" They should have it like the lexus which if you key its in the car it will send a signal to your key and all you have to do is push the button, now that f***ing tight!! That the way it should IMO

To me the push button start accessory is like the remote control for your car stereo...they make them, but what the heck are you ever going to REALLY do with it? Is it that hard to just reach forward and push a button/turn a ****?

On the other hand, it does look really cool!

I like the comparison to the engine dress up kit...looks good, but not really functional!

Just my opinion!

Can you still start it with the key, or do you have to push the button?

Atleast with mine you must use the button. It is a nice conversation mode. I have blown 100 on worst things. Would I do it again yes.

thats the new 09 MKS and it has way more technology involved with getting that to work the way it does and would cost way more than 100 or so dollars. (the key only needs to be on you or in the car to start it not in the ignition)

wow it just went from barely worth the money to utter garbage. I'd rather put $100 towards either

1.Stripes
or
2.Sequential Taillights - add $30 for plug and play
