when you modify the parameters on the stock tune, load it, and then reload your "canned" tune....i know parameters such as axle ratio, o2 configuration, revs per mile, rev limiters, all transfer over to the "canned" tune

when you modify the spark advance on the stock tune, does it simply over ride the settings for the "canned" tune, or does it also modify the preset spark parameters of the canned tune?
