Default RE: What to do with $700

With all that being said. I still say fix it. If you are going to do a GT500 bumper. Then do that soon. It will eat you up inside every time you look at the damage.

As for the $700 cost. They are replacing the bumber, right. The bumpers are not medal, and I don't think you can fix them if the damage is 1/4 inch deep.

bump.

i'm kinda in the same situation. my car got keyed pretty bad a few weeks ago. i took it to a body shop and they said it would cost $2900 to fix. i have a $1000 deductable. i know the body shop painters good and they said they could do it for $1100 as a side job.

if i file a claim, and i get a check from the insurance company would i be able to use it to pay the painters on the side and use the leftover money to pay my school loans or pay off my car quicker?

Im amazed at how many people try and commit fraud these days.

Arent you a Lawyer????
Don't get your panties in a wad champ.
You're never gonna screw the ins. company as much as they screw you...
Very few are the exception, like USAA etc... They are honest.

The OP intend to update the bumper and use the money towards that anyhow.
No matter what, he's repainting a bumper.
No fraud here.

Consider youself lucky, I was in the store and a lady backed into my car and cracked my bumper in several different places and left in a hurry. They got a descr. of the vehicle but no tag number. So im stuck with the bill.
