Default I need your ideas. And a bit of bad news.

My car has been broke "transmission wise" for quite some time, along with me needing a new gauge cluster, fix the gas tank, and some exterior scratchs gotta get fixed... Unfortunately I have gotten terrible news of the passing of my father. He left me with a Dodge ram paid off and I want to sell it and fix up the car and some how dedicate it to him... I was thinking stripes with a cutout in the back of his dates.. 1950-2008. Any body else have ideas of how I can honor him through my mustang? Sense the only reason it will be fixed is because of him.

Sorry to hear about your father that has got to be hard. I think you would have the best perspective as to what would remind you of him better that anyone, but I think the dates and maybe his name some where on the car would be a good place to start.

Good Luck.

Have his portrait airbrushed on/under the hood, maybe a father son theme with the stang in the background. Sorry to hear about it,it gets better w/time but you'll never forget and don't let that be a bad thing it just shows how much you really care. My .02

Very sorry to hear of your fathers passing.

I agree with the embroidered seat option.

dash plaque? maybe embroidered armrest or seat. or you could do a custom rear "gastank" emblem of his dates.

sorry to hear about that..

i think it would look much better if it was embroidered on a leather center console cover, or a dash plaque, or heck even both.
