We are pricks?
The one thing I learned WAY back when I bought my 93GT was that there is some kind of un-written rule (friendship) between Pony owners. It seemed like everytime I passed a pony they waved or gave a thumbs up. At first I was ?? I didn't know him, who the hell was that??? but eventually it dawned on me that pony guys/gals are just like that towards each other. I for one thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread to be a part of it and started waving or giving a thumb-up to every pony driver I met. The feeling I had that day when I realized why all the other pony drivers where waving at me is what made me a Mustang guy for life. So I guess I see their point in that thread, if I see other ponies on the road and give them a thumbs-up and they look at me like i'm some Honda driver or something it would **** me off, that's just not the mustang way. It's awesome to be a part of the Mustang gang no matter what pony you drive, their all Mustangs. I know for a fact that most Pony owners are the coolest people you can meet and for the few that snub their noses at other Mustangs because of the year it was made are really really missing the coolest part of owning a Mustang..........I for one count the days til I can be a part of the Mustang crowd again...............just my thoughts on this topic

I read through those... didn't seem all that bad. They were bagging mostly on the snooty types and those who are misguided about how much power an 05 makes stock. If a stock '05 GT owner snubs his nose at (or tries to run with) a blown Cobra, he is a dork... and deserves to get ranted about.
Now... a blown 05 vs a blown 04 Cobra would be fun to see!

But compare stock for stock. Enough with this "add this add that crap".
Personally, I would like to see the skills and ingenuity of the old and young. I'm not very mechanically inclined when it comes to automobiles (electricity is another topic altogether), so I would be grateful to receive help or advice and fascinated to see what others do to make their cars unique. It has been really fun so far. I also wouldn't mind getting spanked by a faster car for two reasons: 1) I would like to see what the other driver has done to his car so I can have more ideas about modding my car. 2) I am not identified with my car and its speed so much that I think I am less of a person if someone were to beat me soundly. Just my 3 cents worth.

I did compare stock for stock (duh, read it again brainiac)... all I added was it would be fun to see (or participate in) a side-by-side dual between two blown mustangs... what's wrong with that? I happen to like two fast cars racing each other.
