2010 Revealed
Hello, folks! Long time, no post!
Some of you may remember me. Some of you may be noobs (to me, anyway.) I saw the 2010 Mustang in person at the local Auto Show yesterday. In the looks department, the '10 Mustang has nothing to worry about from the Camaro or the Challenger. I love the new lines. Not a single body panel or interior part is shared with the current Stang, except the roofline. Yet, it is still distinctly MUSTANG!
For all you guys hating on it, I request you hold judgement until you see it in person. I actually didn't expect to see it at the show, but was pleasantly suprised to see it up on the rotating platform in all its splendor! It was a black one with a red interior. Sadly, it's not the same Crimson Red currently available. It was a more pale red like that ugly Fox Red that you see in the BMW M3. Anyway, when I first laid eyes on it, I told myself that I'd definitely be getting rid of my '08 BMW 550i Sport (manual) and replacing it with an '11 Mustang GT. Perhaps that was a bit of a knee-jerk response.
I will definitely be getting me one of those, though.
On another note, the 2010 Fusion Sport looks really good, too.

I'm with ya there, buddy! I miss my '05 GT Premium a LOT. Looks like you jumped on the BMW 5-series wagon, too. I love my 550i Sport, but it doesn't give me that same "feel" as hopping behind the wheel of a Mustang. Sort of like hanging out with your favorite girl vs. hanging out w/ a hot new chick that isn't as down to earth or "get you" like your favorite girl does. Not to say that I'm disappointed in my 550i because I'm not. I just miss my Stang.

I agree with Premi here. After watching the car unveiled on Speed Channel and watching the 360 view on Ford's website, I think this is a car that's definitely gonna make more of an impression in person than in pictures. I found that the current S197s are like this as well. Unless you catch them at the right angles, they don't impress visually on film nearly as good as they do in flesh.
I did have some of the same negative impressions as many here when I first looked at the pics earlier this week, but the more I look at it.......the quicker it is growing on me. And I've already made up my mind, if the "Coyote" (4V 5.0) does make it into the new Mustang powering a new Mach 1 or Boss, I'm getting one........FULL STOP.........END OF STORY.

The back end looks like pretty lame, the rest of the car looks good, but why the hell didnt they beef up the engine, maybe so we wouldn't be content with it and they would sell more aftermarket parts
Premi-
The new color is Red Candy and they had one there with the supercharger installed.
They are carrying over Torch Red from the current models, along with Performance White, Black and Brilliant Silver Metallic.
I don't know what it is but yes, I think that once everyone starts seeing more of the 2010's on the road we'll get used to this new rearend. I hope this photo helps:
