Has the 1 piece plugs from brisk. I'd personnally avoid the Champions. Some folks like them, some don't. Its a mixed bag depending on who you talk to.

Thanks. Would this be the correct one piece spark plug?

ive done a few of these for friends and done my own as well....if you have the OEM plugs changethem to Brisk or Champion. the TSB sys to torque to 25ft/lbs, i can tell you the OEM's are around 35...be sure to use Hi-Temp anti sieze only!!!...if you take your car to a dealership for them to do the change, they will cover the labor cost, if they give you a hassle, all u have to do is call the regional service to file a claim and they cover it everytime. Ford realizes it was a poor desige and will stand by the "fix" only if u dont take no for an answer. I went with Brisk and no problems so far...there is also an extractor kit available should they break off

And another note - don't buy the $200 extractor kit. There are FAR cheaper ones that do the job - ranging from $45 to $80.

The 2004-2008 F150s have had the same issue with the 4.6's and 5.4's........an extractor kit for one of those works too, and for some reason is 1/2 the cost of the ones advertised for the Mustangs.

Do you have to buy these one piece spark plugs online or can you get them from an auto store?

Also are those the right ones to get I posted above?

yes those are the correct ones. If the store does not have them im sure they can order them but you could probably get them cheaper online.

Ok now I am hearing that if you buy the Brisk ones you have to change them every 20k.

Is this true?
