I have never had the hood unlatch and catch the safety latch but I have herad of it happening.
I had it happen one time but I live in Oklahoma where the wind blows all day. Heading down a highway 100+ on a windy day and see that happen "needed a clean pair of shorts" Almost had a heart attack.
