Would your friend be interested in a 2005 GT Convertible, 14,500 miles?

I have a S/C S197 but if I was in your shoe's I would go Termi. Now if I was happy at 484rwhp I would say S197 but once the power bug bites the Termi is it, althrough GT500 would be better but more money.

My personal perfect Termi would be....

Sonic Blue
Aftermarket - 03 Cobra wheels in black 10.5" rears
Huge Sticky Tires
MGW Shifter
Twin Disc Clutch
2.3L Whipple Upgrade
Straight Axle out of a GT with Detroit Locker, upgraded axles and 3.73 gears.

That is Perfection in my eyes. For what I have in my car I wouldnt sell it but if I had it to do over again, that is how I would go.

Go with the TERMINATOR. It will obviously hold it's value better than the S197 with a supercharger. They are just better performing cars.

But the interior and such not so much.

trade him.....the termie is going for $20K - 25K on ebay. The 197s are in a free fall as far as price goes. The termie will be worth more in 3 years than the 197. Ford has saturated the market with the 197 and termie is a relatively rare car. That's what I would do, but its your choice.

i think even steven is a great trade

just whipple the terminator??? I personally like 03 cobras cuz it was the mark of Ford pulling their heads out of their asses but that body style and 30year old chasis is not so good. The car has a shorty wheelbase thus making ride crappier but they haul ***... I don't car for cobras at all, the interior is soooo CHEAP and plasticy, the dash sucks, the ergonomics of the seat/shifter/pedals/everything is horrible if you're over 5'9". All in all i would keep your car and whipple it but the Cobra may be a more sought after collectors item someday but we can throw that out the window cuz if you get an 03 cobra, you're not going to keep in stock, therefore, just like vintage muscle cars, the stock ones are always worth more money than the modded ones. It's up to you but i like our s197s better even if they're slower..... i almost bought a cobra before my car but since im 6'4" i couldn't even drive the damn thing....

If it's Mystic Metallic, go for the Termi...

Otherwise, I'd stick with the S197, it's a far superior chassis. The Termi's motor is amazing, but the rest is meh.

The S197 is very nice, and can be built up to please you in the power dept. in a very nice variety of ways but a Cobra (especially on 03-04 Cobra) is special.

Tough call if this will be your daily driver. If it is a weekend car, take the Terminator.
