Out of curiosity. Are you running a tune fore premium fuel or still 87? Have you dynoed with these mods? Mine is auto and I really need a tune. Takes way to long too drop down when running 65+.

I have a 03 F-250 SD deisel and it has the electronic control throttle. So it has been around for a couple of years. I had one problem on the F-250 that when you pressed down on the throttle, it wouldn't rev the engine or go anywhere. They replaced the unit and I was back in business. It was covered under warranty of course and there was a recall on it at the time.

Guys,

I also flashed the Diablo for 91 Octane, took the rev limiter and speed limiter off...

I can still run 87 Octane but have the option for better gas too...

Going 65 MPH and dropping the hammer is NO PROBLEM...

Shifts quickly enough...

Remember, it IS an automatic...

Why not just convert the car to a throttle cable system? Or does the reflash make the car respond that much better that it would not be worth the time?

The reflash is a major improvement... and a gazillion times easier that converting the car to a cable system. That would likely create more problems than it solved.

In my opinion, from what I have seen after my tune, the throttle now feels like a normal pedal instead of having that weird hesitation.
