I did the free shorty mod. You knock the ball of the top and cut it to where you want. Shave the top of the newly shorten antenna to fit the ball and a little. It worked and looks great. No loss in reception took 15 min and was FREE

 

Does anyone know how to remove the 3rd brake light for the shelby badging across the rear? I guess I'll need a relocation kit.. or a whole new trunk. Any ideas?

 

As far as physically removing it, it just about 'pops' out. Flip your trunk up and take a look. Its a breeze. Easier to do than even to explain.

I'm having a hard time seeing why the front end is costing $1675. Is that including shipping, and since you aren't getting the Gt-500 splitter in the package (assuming since you have another quote for a different splitter) as well as the lower grille... why does that price still look like it's too much?

 

Since this thread has returned from the dead, here's a real black KR. The front splitter is not the same as SS, BTW.

 

Your forgetting the most important, and first mod IMO for making a clone, in this case.......the supercharged 5.4 under the hood.
