I love my Hurst billet STS, I definitely think you should install yours. As far as regrets, I don't have any, except for the money it costs lol. The mods I've done have made me love my car even more. Just know what you're getting into before you do the mod, and I don't think you'll have any regrets. Weigh all options.

It is true that Hurst has the most happy customers, but it also has the most unhappy customers. It's a high risk / high reward mod.

A lot of people have owned the Hurst and ended up uninstalling it.

If you already have the shifter might aswell install it, worst comes to worst take it out and sell it. Its not a hard or long install.

The stock shifter does feel pretty good, but under power I didnt like it , it felt flimsy and I felt as if I was going to break it. The addition of my k-memebr brace/tq limiter and the shifter it feels bullet proof now.

if you want something smooth, go to wendys and get a frosty. It's a mustang man, its suppost to be rough and notchy and all the interior pieces are suppost to rattle, that's just how it is and I think its suppost to stay that way. The mods we all do make our cars original and our own, thats whats different between yours and his...his just has a set of stripes, yours is ready to throw down in a race at any moment.
My car is 510rwhp of rattling, notchyness and loudness, and it's daily driven and I love every second of it.

just my opinion,
Ryan

LOL is all i can say back to that.

I guess you are right about the way you see your car though. I looooove running my mustang and that's why I bought it. If you don't like hard acceleration or racing, maybe that was more money to put into look mods. I like a balance of looks and go. I guess its like some people that complain that off-road H is too loud for daily ddriving......its not loud enough man!!!! Different tastes i guess

Excatly how I feel about the stock shifter... feels like its gonna snap right off! Surely going to install the Hurst that I already bought... worse case I will yank it out and try something else if I dont like it. Thanks for your input!

I see the comparison and to be honest its comparing a new car to a modded one that is 2 yrs older......new cars are just that...very drivable.... JMO but thanks for the comparison!
