California Water Blade

California Water Blade
I just bought the Califorinia Water Blade and used it for the first time. It is a slicon squeege like device that has a "T" on the end that wisks all the water away. You start at the top of the car and work down. No water spots or haze.
This thing rocks! I have a Black GT and it got all of the water off in just on wipe! I can't believe how fast it dries the car. I used to use a chamois but now I will use the water blade and microfiber drying towel. I highly recommend this product! It's fast and it produces excellent results!

I love mine too.
I take a wet microfiber cloth that I keep in my other hand and I wipe off the blade after each swipe.
Just being 100 % sure the blade is clean and has no dust or anything on it Dont want to scratch.

I read in the detail section (where this topic will likely get moved of folks using leaf blowers...
Sounds like a great idea. I've got one that will turn a small truck over.
Also heard of folks using a blow dryer. Sounds like good ideas to me.
Less work + Less dry time = more drive/admire time.

Being somewhat of a "wash the paint off my new Mustang" junkie myself, I can offer the three steps to best dry your car after washing it off. #1: Rinse the entire car with the nozzle off the hose as the last wash step. This causes the water to flow off in sheets and not stay on in so many little beads. #2. Use the California Blade starting at the roof to get off the majority of the water. #3: Use a high quality microfiber drying cloth (I use the Big Blue Towell II) to remove the remaining water spots on everything but the tires and wheels (you don't want your microfiber towel to get dirty). If you really want your car to shine, use a quick detail product like Pinnacle Crystal Mist and a clean microfiber polishing cloth to finish the job. This will leave your new Mustang cleaner than you picked it up at the dealer.
