You realize you were involved in a hit and run and then posted the information on the internet with photographic evidence dont you? Pretty sure you left paint tranfser at the scene and that the owners are going to report the damage to the police. You might want to reconsider calling them on Monday before law enforcement gets involved and investigates.

Nice to see I managed to stir up a hornets nest of perfect people who have never made a mistake or a bad judgement.
I can see how you stirred up the hornet's nest. I can also see where you already stated:

Didn't get a police report as I didn't want to get a ticket or get stuck paying for the damage I inflicted to the poor fence I hit.
and

Actually it was a fence around a commercial property. Their insurance will cover the repairs so it wasn't some poor soul waking to a destroyed fence.
So to me, and most of us here, it doesn't sound like you had paying for it in mind at all. In fact, it sounds like you had been planning on them getting screwed over due to your lapse in judgement.

OP, next time, don't mention the fence part on a forum.
Or just say that you hit the ditch or something...

I agree with all, that you should man up to the fence damage.
If you're broke, you could always offer to cut the lawn for the owner or some similar services, to show your good faith...
Except if that property belongs to any of the corporations that got government bail outs or affiliated to ******** like Acorn etc...

Having said that, SOME of you here, are so full of schit!
It's easy to say "bad man, you should pay for the fence..." when you know all so well, that if it was you, you would have bailed out just the same.

Yeah you mother f#ckers! You know who you are!

If the Mustang community was so perfect and kind, we would rule the world by now...

I guarantee that most people making comments would have done the EXACT SAME THING!
I'm not saying what happened was right, I'm just pointing out the truth. LOTS of Hypocrites out there!

That's why I pointed this out...
I refuse to be to be politically correct in my life but I can be honest and can uncover BS when I see it.

How many people leave a note on someone's car when they bugger it up in a parking lot?
NONE! Thank you.

Yikes. I've fallen asleep at the wheel before but luckily it was only at a stoplight. Most damage I did was probably make people a few minutes later for work.

Depends how much damage I've done. But then again only car I've ever hit is my friend's beat up Civic with my Expedition because I was too busy yelling at another friend who almost t-boned me while I was backing out. Forgot I left the car in reverse and boom.

A schoolbus driver ended up seeing and leaving a note and a number to call if she wanted more info not knowing I had already called and laughed with her about the situation. She ended up laughing and ripping up the note.

Actually, my brother wrecked very badly falling asleep in his early years being a cop.
He worked 1 1/2 hour from home back then...
He went in the ravine but got lucky that a tree stop the car early, if not he'd rolled for about 300 feet down.
He still has hip problems to this day because of that.
After the accident, he got his mutation so he was 15mn from home.
He tried to get said mutation for two years before that, to no avail...
Stupid government!
